The Pit (quest)

The Pit is the sixth quest of the Broken Ghost quest line.

Lifeline isn't available for selection.

Loadout

Players start the hunt with the following loadout:

VK-47 Flatline
- 2x HCOG
- Standard Stock
- Extended Magazine
- 2 stacks of Heavy rounds
EVA-8 Shotgun
- 1x HCOG
- 2 stacks of Shotgun shells
Body Shield
Backpack
1 Syringe
1 Shield cell
1 Thermite Grenade

Retrieve the next artifact with a little help from Lifeline.

>Lifeline: Gotta see this through to the end.

Head to the Pit and deploy the drill. Remain cautious of prowlers pouncing from the flanks and rear.

>Lifeline: Prowlers closing in. Sending in a REAL birthday present!

The drilling noise will at attract more prowlers and shadow prowlers. Eliminate the prowlers charging at the drill site.

>Lifeline: Looks like you struck gold. Get the piece, why don'cha?

Pick up the artifact and head towards the exfiltration site before the timer runs out.

Provided encryption/decryption services to downstream parts that had passed authorization.

This is the only interface that the cores would have ever talked to in Raw-0 or Raw-7 modes.

Lack of handshake keybank is surprising, suggesting authsync was provided by another system entirely, which is radically non-standard.
