Gun Shield

Gun Shield is a Defensive Ability utilized by the Legion and Legion Prime Titans. When activated, a Particle Wall is deployed, surrounding the barrels of Legion's Predator Cannon. This shield will remain activate for a short amount of time, and stops legion from sprinting, meleeing, and getting Terminations. He can still employ Electric Smoke, Mode Switch, Power Shot and shoot regularly, however. The shield has 2,500 health.
However, the titan cannot deactivate it and you cannot stop the predator cannon while its on, so you can get trapped in thermite from the Scorch and Nuke Ejections. It is also possible for enemy Titans to bypass the shield by getting extremely close to you or attempt to shoot at a part of Legion exposed due to the positioning angle of the shield, such as its feet.
Notes
- Arc Wave, Flame Core, Tracking Rockets and Laser Core destroy the Gun Shield almost instantly.
- Because of this, a smart Legion can look straight up to prevent a Ronin/scorch from destroying their shield with an Arc Wave/Flame Core.
- Gun Shield blocks Energy Siphon and Laser Shot, while receiving almost no damage in return.
- Arc Rounds deal an extra 50% extra damage to Gun Shield .
- Gun Shield can completely block a Firewall. Looking down is sometimes enough, but looking down and crouching makes it more consistent.
