The Salvo Core is a Titan Core Ability that appears in Titanfall 2. It is used by BT-7274 in the single-player campaign and by the Tone class in multiplayer.

When activated, the Titan will raise both of their Acolyte Pods and fire a large swarm of 60 wire-guided missiles; these missiles will track the Titan's crosshair and will attempt to converge on what it is looking at. This can be used to guide the missile swarm around corners or over cover, to hit enemies from behind.

In Frontier Defense, the Aegis Rank upgrade Salvo Core Barrage upgrades the payload of Salvo Core from 60 to 90 missiles.

Trivia

• If the Tone dies while the missiles are still in the air, they will scatter off in random direction, diminishing their damage.
• The missiles don't do a lot of damage to defensive abilities (Particle Wall, Gun Shield), so be careful that your core isn't wasted on a shield.
