The Fringe Worlds are the planets of The Outlands that have not joined The Syndicate opting not to join Syndicate Space.
In 2733 Salvo became controlled by Sandringham Kelly of Black Rattler with the help of Cherisse Che. Then in 2734 Kelly signed an agreement with The Syndicate to make Salvo a member of Syndicate Space making it the first Fringe World to enter The Syndicate.
