Suppressor
The Suppressor is a weapon mod appearing in Titanfall and Titanfall 2.
Titanfall
It is available for all Pilot primary weapons, except for the Spitfire Light Machine Gun. It reduces noise and muzzle flash upon fire, and causes the player to not appear on enemies' radar upon firing. The Suppressor lowers a weapon's damage just enough so that an extra shot is needed at all ranges to kill, except for the Smart Pistol MK5, which instead increases the lock-on time by about 22% - 25%. The challenge needed to unlock this attachment varies from weapon to weapon.
Titanfall 2
In Titanfall 2, suppressors are now limited to sidearms only - namely, the Hammond P2016, B3 Wingman, SA-3 Mozambique and RE-45 Autopistol, with the Wingman Elite allowing for the Ricochet mod in place of the suppressor. It reduces damage, sound, and does not appear on the minimap when firing.
