Cleo
Cleo is the moon of Boreas and the only known natural satellite of the planet.
History
Cleo Disaster
In 2708 an asteroid struck Cleo destroying a portion of the moon. This resulted in Boreas having many natural disasters such as meteor showers, drought, food shortages, and rapidly changing climates leading scientists to believe that in 50 to 70 years Boreas may be uninhabitable.
The Cleo Resoration Council (CRC) was formed after the asteroid struck Cleo in response to the devastating event, they work to help restore, colonize, and terraform Cleo.
Introduction to the Apex Games
In 2734 Cleo was made the fifth location to host the Apex Games which previously had only been hosted on planets. Seer played instrumental role in Cleo being chosen as an Apex Games host with considerable influence from Torres Silva.
The view of the Apex Games being held on Cleo is split among the citizens of Boreas, some view it as being beneficial and even necessary for the survival of Cleo and Boreas while others see it as The Syndicate and Hammond Robotics extorting the situation and taking advantage of the resources of Boreas and Cleo, a notable proporter of this view point is Catalyst.
Geography
Cleo is mountainous and rocky, it appears to not have any oceans or large bodies of water however it has marsh and swamp like areas. As a result of the asteroid's collision with Cleo there is a large portion of the moon which has been destroyed resulting in a large drop-off from the moon into space, the collision also formed a ring of rocks and dust to form around Cleo.
It is unknown how much of Cleo's surface is a natural result of the formation of the moon and how much was terraformed by the CRC
Flora
Cleo has many plants such as trees, bushes, flowers, and grasses. There are many plants on Cleo which are unrecognizable and cannot be categorized it is unclear if they are the natural Flora of the moon or if they are part of the Terraforming process by the CRC.
Fauna
There are no large animals found on Cleo other than Humans, there are some plants that look like they have the possibility to be Fauna.
