Re: Images Policy?

As we don't have a definite policy for image licensing (though we will get together for), I'd still appreciate it if you could license them, but you're not required to do so for now. Also, when you title them, make sure the name pertains to its respective matter. NinjaFatGuy (talk) 19:18, April 29, 2014 (UTC)

I always do. I have the motherlode of all Titanfall images and screenshots (most of which can be viewed in my PhotoBucket) that I'm going to upload and post to the wiki. Of course, anyone else is welcome to view and download the images in my PhotoBucket and upload them also, if they know what the images are depicting. --Xamikaze330 (talk/contribs) 01:43, May 3, 2014 (UTC)Xamikaze330
That's great to know! Looking forward to your contributions (we need some more images here, anyway). Thanks! NinjaFatGuy (talk) 03:51, May 3, 2014 (UTC)
I have a question. Is there a way to somehow get a screenshot of that double-barreled treaded battle tank seen in Titanfall on like Boneyard, Corporate and Training Ground? Maybe a way to get one on the PC version? If there is, can it be done with an unobstructed view of the vehicle? --Xamikaze330 (talk/contribs) 20:13, May 4, 2014 (UTC)Xamikaze330
I could render an image using the in-game model if you want me to JCuber (talk) 20:21, May 4, 2014 (UTC)
Oh, yes! Please do by all means! I can't find any decent screenshots anywhere, not even a single one! A render would do very nicely. Hopefully it can be posted on the wiki. --Xamikaze330 (talk/contribs) 21:10, May 4, 2014 (UTC)Xamikaze330
Oh, while you're at it, you mind doing one of the car/truck too, please? --Xamikaze330 (talk/contribs) 22:39, May 4, 2014 (UTC)Xamikaze330

Re:Image Requests

Basically just by extracting the models from the VPK files, converting them to a format I can import to 3DS Max with Crowbar, exporting and converting VTF materials/textures to TGA and voilà! I just need to find the correct model file by name. JCuber (talk) 18:59, May 5, 2014 (UTC)

I found the file, the tank's called a Paladin. It's late already so I'll post it tomorrow. JCuber (talk) 20:28, May 5, 2014 (UTC)
Hmm, they came out a bit darker than expected. Are the colors alright? File:Tankfront.png, File:Backtank.png - JCuber (talk) 15:23, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
They're fine. Changed the canvas size a little bit. But yeah, they're okay. You looking for the car/truck-type vehicle too now? --Xamikaze330 (talk/contribs) 15:41, May 6, 2014 (UTC)Xamikaze330
The truck's files actually had the word truck in their name so they were pretty easy to find. I'll work it out. - JCuber (talk) 17:52, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
Almost there, just adding the textures. The trucks are called "Samson" - JCuber (talk) 18:23, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
Damn... NinjaFatGuy (talk) 19:42, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
And here we go: File:Samson_render.png. It came out pretty sweet if you ask me. Slightly lower quality rear perspective: File:Samson_render_rear.png - JCuber (talk) 19:58, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
Nice. Well done. Thanks for the help! --Xamikaze330 (talk/contribs) 20:26, May 6, 2014 (UTC)Xamikaze330

I was a bit busy with personal stuff, didn't have a chance to play Titanfall. I'll be sure to grab them today! As for the renders, I'm not sure what Sentinel and Odyssey are called in the files. Anyways, I'll dig into them today. JCuber (talk)
