Blackbird Squadron
The Blackbird Squadron were a squadron of Frontier Militia Crow pilots commanded by Sarah Briggs and Blackbird Actual during the Battle of Typhon.
History
Blackbird Squadron aided in the pursuit of the IMS Draconis which housed the Ark, a power source which would be used to power the Fold Weapon.
The MCS Carter Braxton helped transport the Blackbird Squadron to the IMS Draconis where they launched from the MCS Carter Braxton and destroyed an IMC Goblin squadron and quickly resumed their pursuit of the IMS Draconis.
Commander Sarah Briggs ordered Blackbird Squadron to ignore the IMS Thermopylae and fly past it due to it having little to no offense capabilities and continue their pursuit of the Draconis. As they passed the Thermopylae radio chatter intensified as Blackbird pilots frantically reported there was an enemy attacking them that was too fast to track, the Apex Predator Viper and his Northstar-Class Titan swiftly moved through the air shooting down all but one Blackbird Crow dropship before shooting down a Widow transport ship which Jack Cooper and BT-7274 were standing in.
Jack Cooper and BT-7274 were saved by Robert "Barker" Taube as they fell, the last surviving Blackbird pilot called Blackbird 6-4 suggested to BT he fastball Cooper to him, Cooper successfully made the throw to the dropship where Droz welcomed him to The 6-4. Blackbird 6-4 flew Cooper as close as he could to the IMS Malta where Cooper secured its deck and disabled its anti-air-cannons.
