Advocate gift

Advocate Gifts are a gameplay mechanic present in Titanfall 2. They take the form of randomised lootboxes that can be earned in game - gifted to the player by the mysterious Advocate - and offer the potential for Camouflage, Warpaint, Banner, Patch, Execution animation, Coliseum ticket, Credits and Nose Art unlocks. Advocate Gifts cannot be bought for real-world money, and are instead unlocked via levelling up overall rank, weapons and Titans. Winning matches of the Coliseum will also provide the victor with one Advocate Gift.

Production notes

Prior to the November 2017 Harvest Time update, many items were exclusive to Advocate Gift unlocks. However, despite numerous tweaks to the system, many of these items remained elusive to the playerbase at large, prompting Respawn Entertainment to allow all Advocate Gift-exclusive items to be bought with Credits.
