Commander Scryer was an IMC Pilot who appeared in the Apex Legends video series Stories from the Outlands as the main antagonist. Scryer wears a modified IMC Pilot Helmet from Titanfall. Scryer appears to have a modified Jump Kit as he's able to fly on his own being able to carry at least one extra person.

Stories from the Outlands

Commander Scryer received an SOS transmission from one Sergeant Anita Williams requesting an immediate evac from a downed ship known as the IMS Hestia I, Scryer asked for the status of the Commanding Officer shortly before leaving to retrieve the IMC survivors.

Once Scryer arrived he assessed that the Commanding Officer, Bangalore's brother Jackson Williams was a traitor and the penalty for desertion is death. Denying Bangalore's request for a fair trial Scryer remotely activated the missiles on his ship to attack the settlement of the IMS Hestia I.

Scryer put on his helmet and ran across a wall shooting at Bangalore with a smart pistol until it was shot out of his hands. Scryer resulted to tackling her and raising her into the air with his jump kit until Bangalore took Scryer's knife and stabbed his jump kit causing Scryer to drop Bangalore through a roof where her brother Jackson came to her aid.

Scryer dropped through the hole in the ceiling and engaged in hand to hand combat with the siblings. Scryer quickly obtained the upper-hand and retrieved his knife as he taunted the siblings having said "Not bad." before he enabled his cloak. Scryer then continued to taunt the two recognizing their family's achievements in the IMC, and quickly punched Bangalore into a wooden crate which pierced her leg. He then sadistically started to slash at Jackson continuing his spiel about how disappointed their parents would be knowing their children died as traitors to the IMC.

Remembering her encounter with a Militia Pilot on Gridiron, Bangalore got up and prepared for an attack from Scryer when he did so Bangalore grabbed his arm and stabbed him in the neck with the wooden steak that had been in her leg while also taking Scryer's knife, Jackson grappled Scryer to the ground Bangalore stabbed him in the chest and hammered it past his armor killing the Commander.
