Troy is a planet on The Frontier. Situated in the largely-uninhabited Sector Bravo-217, Troy was considered a backwater, even by Frontier standards.

History

During the Titan Wars, a mutiny aboard the IMC vessel IMS Odyssey would leave the carrier and its crew - led by former commanding officer James MacAllan - stranded on the planet. Over the proceeding fifteen years, the survivors of the crash would use the carrier's debris to form the town of Colony G21, largely segregated from the ongoing Frontier War and the struggles of the IMC and Militia.

Following the Fracture Operation, vessels of the 1st Militia Fleet would retreat into Sector Bravo-217 in an attempt to escape the wrath of their IMC pursuers. To root out the Militia forces, Spyglass would scan all possible jump destinations within range of the Yuma System, detecting life signs on the planet Troy, previously thought to be uninhabited. Believing this hidden world to be harbouring the Militia forces, Kuben Blisk and several platoons of BRD-01 Spectres would be deployed to pacify the village and round up the colonists. MacAllan and several other survivors would retreat to the remains of the Odyssey, and broadcast an SOS message for anyone to hear, leading the Marauder Corps to investigate and engage in battle with IMC forces on-site. Ultimately, MacAllan and several colonists would be succesfully rescued by Militia forces, though many more would be killed or captured and sent to Typhon for experimentation by ARES Division.[1][2][3]

Game Information

In the Titanfall games, the planet Troy is home to two multiplayer maps in Titanfall and Titanfall 2 - the maps Colony and Relic. Colony would also see a revamp for inclusion in the game Titanfall: Assault.
